Fees and Payment Methods
Our standard fee for an initial consultation regarding immigration matters is $200.00 (U.S.). Initial consultations are required for all new clients. This fee is payable in advance and we do not do initial consultations unless this fee has been paid. After the initial consultation, our fees are based on the amount of the time our attorneys and paralegals spend on the case. For some types of cases, we are willing to negotiate a fixed or "flat" fee based upon an estimate of time for a usual case. In some flat fee cases, we may credit the consultation fee against the flat fee. In addition to legal fees, we require our clients to pay the costs of any disbursements associated with their cases. These usually include such items as copying costs, filing fees, messenger and courier service expenses, express mail and postage, and long distance telephone charges. We will discuss our fees with you at your initial consultation. It is our policy to enter into a written agreement with each client concerning legal fees and services to be performed. You may pay our fees, including the initial consultation fee, by the following methods:
- Check, certified bank check, or money order drawn on a U.S. bank in U.S. dollars, made payable to "Donnelley & Stahl, L.L.C."
- Cash in U.S. dollars. We will give you a receipt for all payments in cash
- MasterCard or Visa Card
